Vision Statement
QCI envisions a community where all mental health needs are met regardless of age, socioeconomic status, and/or ethnic or cultural origin.
Our Mission
QCI Behavioral Health's mission is to provide the most focused, caring, careful, dedicated, humane, encouraging, least restrictive, and consistent mental health care to individuals, families, children, adolescents, teenagers, and adults with persistent and chronic mental illness, with no other avenue to services; with care provided in the individual's environment—in the home, on the street, in shelters for the homeless, in the office, or wherever we find there is need.
Who are we?
Mental health clinicians from the fields of counseling, family therapy, psychology, social work and nursing utilizing diverse modalities with specialties in adult, adolescent and child issues.
Physicians with specialties in Adult and Child Psychiatry and extensive experience with multiple patient populations. Focused medical and medication clinic support for adults and children.
Intervention specialists - life skills, employment/community support, coaching, job development, employment and training, behavioral and psychological.
Strategic Planning Process & Purpose
The purpose of the strategic plan is to identify QCI’s strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats in order to establish an effective strategy for continuous development in the delivery of quality service currently provided to participants, as well as further enhance employee and stakeholders’ satisfaction.
In order to create and maintain a holistic strategic plan process, QCI considers the following variables:

Goal 1: Maintain funding annually to continue to provide excellent services.
Objectives:
Continue to improve communication with Optum Health, Medicare, and private insurance companies.
Monitoring internal reports to ensure all services provided can be appropriately run through insurance for maximum patient care.
Actively engaged in several community events for stakeholder involvement and business development purposes.
Apply for appropriate grants to secure additional funding and/or positions.
Goal 2: Maintain accreditation

Review CARF standards and compare against existing policies, procedures and business practices.

Goal 4: Continue to expand scope of mental health support offered to specific patient communities
Objectives:
Focus partnerships with various communities (persons living with HIV/AIDS, persons with co-occurring disorders, senior citizens, etc.)
Secure a Memo of Understanding with each community partner / agency
Further networking with the Local Behavioral Health Authority
Participate in community events
Goal 5: Maintain collaborative relationships with referring agencies and external treatment providers
Objectives:
Continue to maintain a good working relationship with the legal system.
Staff communicate with referral sources regarding admission notifications and records requests
Patients sign consents to release confidential information for their referral source to facilitate treatment planning
Goal 6: Establish and integrate peer support services at the agency
Objectives:
Hire a certified peer support staff person
Educate all staff on the benefits and advantages of peer support
Educate hired peers on boundaries, confidentiality and specific interventions to use
Refer peer support staff to attend training focused on ethics, boundaries, and client care.
Goal 7: Improve data entry and reporting in the electronic health record to ensure accurate and timely patient care
Objectives:
Establish a consistent data entry/reporting schedule for all leadership personnel
Utilize EHR’s automatic data reporting features
Data entry assignments are clearly communicated to staff with due dates
Standardizing data entry reports
Define data sets necessary for improvements in program quality
